Professional: I had a strong desire to start earning money very early in life- so I had to start my own lawn mowing company when I was 9 years old. $5 Bucks for front and another $5 Bucks for the back yard. Hey I was running 20 lawns a week, that’s big money for a 9 year old. During that time, my biggest take away was to invest in good equipment. I remember going down to the True Value hardware and purchased the top of the line mower. I was even an early adopter of new technology- a weed eater. Talk about building a better mousetrap. The summer before HS I started working in a local Italian pizza restaurant. I started as a busboy/dishwasher and by my senior year I was the head cook. Lots of “firsts” working there- first cocktail, first girlfriend, first… Enough said. I have been in roofing for some time now- in fact I was working here at Lyons Roofing the first time around before the La Nue’s owned the company- so 15 plus years ago. I have worked for most of the major players and am happy to be back home at Lyons Roofing as the foam division manager.

Personal: I am married to my high school sweetheart. Well, I got it right eventually. I should say I am now happily married to my HS sweetheart for 3 years now. I guess it was meant to be. We have two adult daughters and a nephew I love as a son. I have 5 grandchildren, 3 girls and 2 boys, that I try to spend as much time as possible with. I also have two fur kids- a Charcoal Lab and an Australian Sheppard. I spent 25 plus years as a soccer coach and referee and have a great love of this sport. I am also very involved with the Desert Caballeros charity work and participate in their longest horse ride in the US each year. Likes: anything to do with the outdoors. I am an avid hunter, fisher, gatherer. Dislikes: Arrogance. Also, please get to the point with minimal BS please.
