Roofing Contractor Magazine Features Lyons Roofing in Phoenix

Roofing Contractor Magazine is one of the most popular publications in the country when it comes to all things about roofing, roofing companies, roofing technology, and everything in between. Each month, a new addition of the magazine is distributed and generally features an up-and-coming roofing company, or the roofing company that is making the most waves. Lyons Roofing in Phoenix is more than proud to be able to say that our company was featured in Roofing Contractor Magazine’s September 2017 edition.

Lyons Roofing was honored with a full-length article that spanned several pages, really giving our Phoenix roofing company a prominent presence in the magazine. The article served as a thorough examination of our company from top to bottom, beginning to end. It even covered the origins of Lyons Roofing, which includes a story from 1997 of President Paul LaNue playing a poker game with friends who suggested he get into the roofing industry.

Roofing Contractor Magazine also discussed some of our company’s recent and all-time successes, including:

  • Placement in Roofing Contractor’s Top 100 List of 2017 for revenue
  • Better Business Bureau Ethics Award (2009)
  • Arizona Roofing Contractors Association Contractor of the Year (2012)

Both Paul LaNue and Rhonda LaNue, the Executive Vice President of Lyons Roofing and Paul’s wife, had a chance to talk to Roofing Contractor Magazine. Together, they explained that much of the company’s success throughout the decades is entirely in thanks to the efforts of their employees. From the beginning, the LaNues wanted to treat employees correctly, train them to be the best around, and conduct company business in a way that made “employees for life.” The philosophy has proven to be the right one, as many of our team have been here for years and years.

Of course, Lyons Roofing is also all about its clients and getting the job done right the first time. Through keeping happy and highly-trained employees, Lyons Roofing was able to make even happier customers throughout Phoenix and the surrounding region. In what could be seen as a somewhat humorous statement, Rhonda told Roofing Contractor Magazine that onsite technicians and contractors are told to treat each client’s house as if they were in the house of their own grandmother. That is to say, ultimate respect and care are necessary, and anything less is unacceptable. When everything is said and done, Lyons Roofing is expecting a good fiscal year by the end of 2017 due to its efforts, focus, and principles.
